Design contract for superstructure replacement under full roadway closure/detour and accelerated schedule. The existing superstructure will be replaced with Prefabricated Bridge Units and the existing abutments will be capped with precast concrete beam seats under an accelerated full roadway closure period.

CXC provided constructability review, Bottoms-Up Estimating and a Contract Time Determination schedule during the design development period. CXC was able to work closely with the design team and owners to present a viable option for ABC superstructure replacement. CXC schedule analysis also included development of several acceleration schedule scenarios including 3-day, 5-day, 14-day and 21-day roadway closures.
