This CMGC contract was administered by VTrans to replace two 100-year old bridges over Vermont Railroad and replace them with a precast concrete tunnel and boat sections which brought better continuity in the center of town.

CXC provided Construction Schedule Analysis to VHB Corp. and VTrans for this CMGC project. CXC reviewed and analyzed monthly schedule updates, as well as the review of the CMGC’s planned 10-week Railroad Shutdown Accelerated Schedules, whereby two bridges and over 250 pieces of precast retaining wall and box tunnel were replaced. CXC also provided Independent Cost Estimating service to VTrans to assist in their change order negotiations with the CMGC Entity.
