Preliminary design contract with VPRA includes a new two-track George Washington Memorial Parkway crossing, Potomac River Crossing, WMATA/I-395 crossing, as well as replacement of three existing bridges and construction of two pedestrian/bikeway bridges and several thousand square feet of MSE retaining wall and new railroad embankment.

CXC is providing constructability reviews, cost estimating, and schedule analysis for the 15% and 30% design levels. Providing daily interface and coordination in an over-the-shoulder type format to support a multi-disciplined design team including permitting, utilities, geotechnical, railroad, MOT, civil/highway, bridge, retaining walls, and crash walls.
