Preliminary design contract to develop rehabilitation strategies for the Queen City Bridge in Manchester, NH. Scope includes field inspection and testing, defining repair requirements, and estimating cost of improvements which include structural steel repair, concrete deck repair, expansion joint replacement, bearing repair and replacement, as well as a full clean and paint of the deck truss superstructure.

CXC provided Constructability Review, Cost Estimating guidance and Construction Schedule guidance to Fuss & O’Neill and AECOM as they developed preliminary engineering parameters for the rehabilitation of the Queen City Bridge for the City of Manchester, NH. The work will include concrete deck repairs, bridge sidewalk replacement, joint replacement, major steel repairs, concrete substructure repairs and a complete clean and paint of the deck truss over the Merrimack River.
